leah.horn@westaf.org<\/a><\/p>\nDENVER, CO\u2014La Federaci\u00f3n de Artes de los Estados del Oeste (WESTAF) se complace en anunciar que la artista local Adri Norris pintar\u00e1 un mural o una serie de murales que destaquen el movimiento por el sufragio femenino en un lugar muy transitado del vecindario Montbello de Denver. Norris pintar\u00e1 el mural o los murales cerca del campus estudiantil de Montbello, un lugar central para muchas personas que residen y trabajan en el distrito.<\/span><\/p>\nWESTAF encarg\u00f3 la creaci\u00f3n de un mural relacionado con el sufragio femenino para conmemorar el centenario de esta lucha que dur\u00f3 d\u00e9cadas y que dio como resultado la legislaci\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica que otorg\u00f3 a las mujeres el derecho a votar. Como artista docente de Think 360 Arts, Norris trabaj\u00f3 con Youth Seen, una organizaci\u00f3n enfocada en ayudar a los j\u00f3venes y las familias de color LGBTQ+ a sentirse vistos y escuchados.
