Con m\u00e1s de una d\u00e9cada de experiencia en el campo, McGee es una artista y defensora de las artes que comenz\u00f3 su trabajo administrativo en las artes ayudando a las organizaciones locales de base y sin fines de lucro con la redacci\u00f3n y gesti\u00f3n de subvenciones. M\u00e1s recientemente, se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como representante de distrito de la congresista de Nevada Susie Lee, centr\u00e1ndose en la divulgaci\u00f3n para las comunidades negras, nativas americanas y LGBTQ+ en torno a las artes y la cultura, el medio ambiente y las tierras p\u00fablicas. Cariaga comenz\u00f3 su carrera en 2015 como directora de la guardia de color de la escuela secundaria Cesar Chavez, donde trabajaron con estudiantes del T\u00edtulo I para lograr niveles de \u00e9xito sin precedentes a nivel regional. Obtuvieron una licenciatura en danza del Departamento de Artes y Culturas del Mundo\/Danza de la UCLA, donde fueron avalados para ser afiliados de pregrado de la Asociaci\u00f3n Estadounidense de Investigaci\u00f3n Educativa y fueron una de las dos personas de la clase de graduados de su universidad en recibir el Premio al Servicio del Canciller.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">\u201cDurante muchos a\u00f1os, WESTAF ha trabajado en pro de la diversidad, la equidad y la inclusi\u00f3n en toda la regi\u00f3n occidental\u201d, afirm\u00f3 la directora de Responsabilidad Social e Inclusi\u00f3n, Anika Ten\u00e9. \u201cNuestra intenci\u00f3n es profundizar ese compromiso haciendo hincapi\u00e9 en la equidad cultural, la justicia social y la lucha contra el racismo sist\u00e9mico a trav\u00e9s del servicio a los grupos subrepresentados dentro del sector\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">Los nuevos gerentes de ISR trabajar\u00e1n juntos para abordar m\u00e1s profundamente las intersecciones del acceso y la equidad.
