\u201cBringing the world closer together is at the core of Facebook and that\u2019s exactly why we\u2019re supporting the Kennedy Center\u2019s\u00a0Arts Across America<\/em>\u00a0program to help people around the country connect virtually through their appreciation for the arts,\u201d said Facebook\u2019s Director of Public Affairs Robert Traynham. \u201cWe look forward to seeing the diverse artists share their talents through this innovative program.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Arts Across America<\/em>\u00a0will be available on Facebook Live, YouTube, and the Kennedy Center website, five days a week at 4 p.m. EST. A rotating performance schedule will feature performers presented by the Kennedy Center and collaborator organizations Arts Midwest<\/a>; Mid-America Arts Alliance; Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation<\/a>; New England Foundation for the Arts<\/a>; South Arts<\/a>; Western States Arts Federation<\/a>; jurisdictional arts agencies representing US territories; and\u00a0Sankofa.org<\/a>. An initial calendar for this celebration of all who contribute to the culture of the US is below:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
