Announcing the 2026-27 TourWest Awardees

Every year, TourWest makes it possible for communities across the West to open their doors to music, movement, and story.

This year, 288 organizations are doing exactly that. The 2026-27 TourWest awardees represent the full range of what arts and community look like in the West – from school gyms and rural community halls to libraries and established venues. What they share is a commitment to bringing people together around live art.

That might look like a packed room full of laughter, a poem that puts words to something people have felt but never said, or a performance a student carries with them for years.

TourWest supports arts and community organizations that present out-of-state touring performers and literary artists to their communities. Backed by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), the program has strengthened the cultural fabric of the West since 1994 — connecting artists with new audiences and giving communities of every size access to live, regional work.

Congratulations to the 2026-27 TourWest awardees, and thank you for the incredible work that you do!
