The grants, ranging from $65,000 to $130,000, are designed to empower nonprofits that are deeply committed to inclusivity and expanding access to the arts. By fostering an environment where everyone can live an artful life, ArtsHERE is a significant step toward strengthening the national arts ecosystem. As Maria Rosario Jackson, PhD, chair of the NEA, eloquently states, “Everyone should be able to live an artful life, and ArtsHERE is an important step in ensuring we are strengthening our nation’s arts ecosystem to make this a reality.”
This initiative not only provides financial support but also includes opportunities for peer-learning and technical assistance, ensuring that grant recipients have the resources needed to sustain meaningful community engagement. Creative West celebrates these efforts to transform communities through the arts and invites you to explore the stories of these inspiring organizations and the impactful projects they are embarking upon.
